The Angel Costume was first released in June 2006 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. A new version of the Angel Account Upgrade has been released, with 7 new Angel themed items and either a Angel coloured Vixen or Kaala Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retireJanuary 15th.
The Basil, Bolimo, Decadal, Eyru, Flab, Jessup, Raulf and Straya can now wear the Angel Costume.
Most of the oldest and worst Angel pets have been updated to match the new style.
Also here to complain about the yellow. The really old angel artwork, white and gold gold, was the best. This is better than the in-between blue and yellow, but still not liking the yellow.
I wish that the artist who did the Hump back in September had done these.
The gold and blue, and extra detail on it that she put into the Hump, had a much greater quality to it than these.
I was super exited to finally /maybe/ want an Angel pet, after seeing the Hump 3 months ago, but now? Nope. Not a fan either.
The Angel Hump looks like high quality- good work. Why are the wings so small, why do the colors of the items not match the pets, why do they look like this?

I don't grouch much either BUT too disappointed to even play Mara tonight:'( I, like many players adore the Chibs and I have many lol. I so dislike this updated version. The yellow is wishwashy, wings (oh dear)and to sum up in my opinion, 'tis a non event. Maybe if the yellow was more distinct and wings more befitting for an Angel,it may look better ...our lovely cat is ruined. Just sayin'.:'(
edit: bring back the strong gold, change posture maybe, more detail in artwork...
I was sad to See Marcusio changed into the new angel chibs this morning, it doesnt look as good. Also I wasted about 26 mil on angel costume a few months ago just to have the price deflate to probably a few mil. Kinda upset

I like the Tasi and Lorius, but honestly I'll recostume my Chibs as soon as I can. Like many others, I'm not a fan of the basic poses and tiny wings; costumes like Valentine or Party have so much more life and character to them, and do look more expensive imo.
E: Flitter is very cute, though - loved Digimon so I'll def pick one up haha.
Too bad, unfortunately not very successful. the colors are too yellowish ... the old colors were more angelic for me ... as well as the wings: they look like little cherub wings, for some of our animals too tiny. Angel wings should be big and powerful, impressive .... I'm disappointed
