The Hero Costume was first released in November 2009 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and neglected ever since. It was never popular and our revamp has turned all Hero costumed pets into a new Strobe Costume. We have released a new version of the Strobe Account Upgrade with 8 new themed items and either a Strobe coloured Sybri or Yakubi Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire November 30th.
There are 16 new pets that can now wear the Strobe Costume.
The Hero Newth, Ike, Daisy, Yuni, Yakubi, Viotto and Basil have been updated. If you have one of these pets, they have now turned into Strobe pets.
Not very fair to the few who actually liked the hero costume. Unpopular or not, I think you should have at least asked the current owners of hero pets if it would be ok. :zombie:
I personally wish the colors were more saturated around the glowsticks, more like the colors of the Arcade pets. At the same time, the colors are soothing and not to gaudy, so I feel mixed about it. The artwork is lovely though.
@ZacEfronFan2006 - Superhero isn't changing to Strobe. It's just the Hero Costume that's changing. So your Superhero Murfin is safe.
I love love love this. The colour combos are very pleasing to my eye. :) I do agree tho redrawings are better than totally changing a pet. This could have been a totally new pet. I will have at least a couple of these. Already changed my chibs. :like:
