The Hero Costume was first released in November 2009 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and neglected ever since. It was never popular and our revamp has turned all Hero costumed pets into a new Strobe Costume. We have released a new version of the Strobe Account Upgrade with 8 new themed items and either a Strobe coloured Sybri or Yakubi Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire November 30th.
There are 16 new pets that can now wear the Strobe Costume.
The Hero Newth, Ike, Daisy, Yuni, Yakubi, Viotto and Basil have been updated. If you have one of these pets, they have now turned into Strobe pets.
I really like the costume which is why I bought 10 AU from paypal but have not received it yet. It's been over a day and I haven't gotten a response to the email I sent. Is saying something here better?
I wish with these AU Costumes at least that they would have specialty poses, Burnt Costume has at least facial expressions but I love the Costume the colors are great!
Very disappointing. Not only did you take a fairly unique costume (hero) and make it a total copycat of the neon costume, but you didn't even do the strobe costume any justice. The poses are basic, the color is plain, and the neon lines appear lazy and simply thrown on there. There is no character to this costume at all. The hero one, if done correctly, had SO much potential. Each pet could have had a different super power and costume, PLUS! Now we have VILLAIN pets with NO HEROS! WHO WILL SAVE US NOW?! A bunch of ravers. Woo. :dislike:
