Secret Blogs were released 9 years ago, long before we had our dress up characters. The last blog was released 2 years ago and before that it was about 5 or 6 years before another was released. They were difficult to draw and release, hardly used and not popular. We have removed them and the new 'Experiences' feature will take their place.
Your character will now show up as the shopkeeper of your shop/gallery. You can still edit the colours and add a greeting for your character in your Shop and Gallery. You will also be able to have a different background for your Shop, Gallery and the rest of the site.
RIP SECRET BLOGS
On June 1, 2014 Secret Blogs retired forever. A new feature called Experiences began that very same day! Experiences can be found in Nimbus. Whenever Cornelius experiences a spectacular view, the background will become available for you to find. Once you have found it, you will be able to use this background for your character in the forums.
Similar to the way that Hidden Avatars work, you will need to visit somewhere or do something on Marapets related to the 'experience' and unlock it for your collection. You can visit your collection and use it to change your character's background at any time. New backgrounds will be released in the news in the same way avatars are.
Level 1 - You need to visit the Smuggler. Prize: A Chocolate Dukka Coin
Level 2 - Buy an item from the Restaurant. Prize: 1000 MPs
Level 3 - You need to have the most recent Price Change item in your Inventory When you have, visit Price Changes. Empty your inventory but for the item needed. Prize: A Prison Balloon
Level 4 - You need to restock a Potion from the Potion Shop. Prize: Dukka Rock Cookies
Level 5 - You need to refer a new player to Marapets with the Referral System, try visiting your Referrel list. Prize: Dukka Caves Shirt
Level 6 - You need to restock a Book from the Book Shop. Prize: 2,500 mps
Level 7 - You need to use a rarity 10 or more Potion on your pet. Prize: Dukka Caves Gumball
Level 8 - You need a pet that has read 30 books. Look at it's books. Prize: 5,000 mps
Level 9 - You need a pet that has learnt 40 musical instruments, look at it's instruments. Prize: Dukka Caves Potato
Level 10 - You need to restock a Musical Instrument from the Musical Instrument Shop. Prize: 7,500 mps
Level 11 - You need a pet that has learnt 60 musical instruments.Look at it's instruments. Prize: Jar of Dukka Coins
Level 12 - You need a pet that has read 50 books. Look at it's books. Prize: Daisy Horns
Level 13 - You need to have every meal at the Restaurant in your Inventory. Prize: Dukka Goals Plushie
Level 14 - You need to use a rarity 15 or more Potion on your pet. Prize: Dukka Caves Pearl
Level 15- You need a pet that has learnt 80 musical instruments. Prize: Dukka Goals Book
Level 16 - You need a pet that has read 75 books. Prize: 10,000 mps
Level 17 - You need to own any Pirate coloured pet. View it profile. Prize: 20,000 mps
Level 18 - You need a pet that has learnt 120 musical instruments. Prize: Treasure dvd
Level 19 - You need a pet that has read 100 books. Prize: Stalactite Shield
Level 20 - You need to buy any item from the Pirate Ship. Prize: 30,000 MPs
