The Cowboy Costume was first released in February 2009 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. We have updated and renamed the costume and a new version of the Cowboy Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new themed items. A new Bootleg Pyramid Treasure Map is the main prize. Collect all 16 pieces of this map and you will gain access to the brand new Bootleg Pyramid feature recently released. You will receive 6 or 7 random pieces of this map. Love the map and the skill in the art is obviously fantastic as usual but i actually preferred getting 8-12 unique poses/desings on certain pets than getting all pets but in basic pose with (sorry) one unimaginative design :(
Kinda sad they got rid of alot of the detail that was in the cowboy costume. Mainly the shirt pattern. Most cowboys wear shirts with the western patterns.

....It's ugly. Like... legit that's all I can say? All the hats that look like actual cowboy hats just look pasted on, and the others look like bowler hats. Very very bad revamp. Also re: the reason for rushing it out doesn't matter, it's still a rush job and it's still greedy because of it lmao? Y'all wildin.
Genuinely, they could've done a lot more with the cowboy costume, instead of editing basic pet poses to have clothes on them.
It's mediocre.
Regardless of the reason why it was rushed, the more you look at it, the more it falls apart. This was still rushed for money grabbing, the same as the checkered costume was rushed.
There was a lot of potential that could've been done to these pets, and I adore cowboys. But this was a huge letdown for me too. The artwork before the revamp had a lot of personally and nice little additions to detail, such as the stripes in the dress shirts and the little damage and patterns in the bananas.
and while this has "newer" pet art, it doesn't stand out as much. They're wearing a cowboy costume, but no flare.
Some of the hats don't look like cowboy hats, and look more rounded like a bowler, as said by @Sombra
Some of the ears are weirdly poking through the brim when it should be pinned down by the weight of the hat.
