We set out to check out prefab homes today. Still early days. So just checking them out, nothing serious yet. But man! Why are they so expensive! This is supposed to be the affordable option! Everything else is affordable for us, even getting trees is affordable. We will make it work and it was only the first option. We have time before making the hard decisions. Some real nice prefab homes out there! I guess I know why expensive, very nice interiors!
