Recently I learned how to use PowerBI for my work and I've found it endlessly fascinating being able to analysye various facets of my life
Well, I decided to try doing this for Marapets & thought it might be mildly interesting to share with you all
I've been keeping a record of all my pet trades on a blog:https://www.marapets.com/blogs.php?entry=500264&id=3291240
I converted this to a dataset I could use for analysis.. this was more time consuming & complicated than I thought it would be..! You can find it on my Marapage: https://mara.page/morehope

Let me know if you have any thoughts on what kind of insights I can get from this data!
But for now, here are some preliminary findings:

------------------------------------------------

Active Trading Dates
I've had many hiatuses from Mara, so thought this would be interesting to look at.. the times I'm active correlate quite a lot with different periods in my life!
- My most active year was 2020 (peak COVID)
- My most active month is May

------------------------------------------------

Most common Users I've traded with
In this visualisation, each number in a column corresponds to a separate trade and the number of pets traded away
e.g. I've traded 8 total pets to KirsteyJane over 4 separate trades

------------------------------------------------

Species & Costumes
This one speaks for itself. This is a breakdown of the top pets species and costumes I've traded & received!
Just a note though that the Received data is a little inaccurate since the data focuses on pets traded away, meaning if X number of pets were traded to receive a pet, that received pet would show up X amount of times in the data.
