Holiday Mad Libs 1. Twas the night before VALENTINE’S DAY and all through the house,
Not a creature was SNEEZING, not even a mouse.
The FIDGET SPINNERS were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that LADY GAGA soon would be there.
The MARBLES were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of SUGAR COOKIES danced in their heads.
And mom in her SWEATSHIRT and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long SUMMER’S nap.
And then, in a twinkling I heard in the BEDROOM,
The prancing and pawing of each PINKY.
As I drew in my EAR and was turning around,
Down the MONKEY BARS St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He JUMPED not a word, but went LEFT to his work,
And HUGGED all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his BELLY BUTTON aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the PORCH he rose;
He sprang to his UPS TRUCK, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all KARATE CHOPPED like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim as he went out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a SPLENDID night.
2. ‘Twas the night before LABOR DAY and all through the house,
Not a creature was DRAWING, not even a mouse.
The BARBIES were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that A CELEBRITY soon would be there.
The HERD was nestled all snug in their beds
