I've been aiming to get the full whirlpool treasure map, but didn't know if I should buy RP with my MP at the usual 1 MP : 9 RP rate, or do some Leprechaun Quests.

So I recorded info about 200 Leprechaun quests to see how much MP I've saved, or if it was worth doing the quests at all (I'm a returning player so I didn't have any idea) Now that the St Patrick's Day event is going on, I thought you all might be interested in the results!

Usual price in MP (1:9 ratio): 2,150,928
MP saved: 607,981

Average MP to RP ratio (total MP spent/total RP received) - 1 MP : 6.2 RP
Median Mp to RP ratio - 5.9

MP spent per quest item
Average 4459.4
Median 4499.5

RP gained per quest
Average 1195.0
Median 1126.0

Quests 100 - 200 needing 9000MP or more = 38
~60% of quests will be worth completing if the avg RP received

17% of the time you will get between 1-499 RP
26% of the time you will get between 500-999 RP
33% of the time you will get between 1000-1499 RP
20% of the time you will get between 1500-1999 RP
2% of the time you will get 2000 RP +

I got 15,000 RP two times in two hundred quests which suggests you'll get 15,000 RP every hundred quests or so.

- 2 items: 41 occurrences
- 3 items: 17 occurrences


I also did an additional test because I had a feeling quests were a bit more expensive since the St Patrick's Day Event started. So I compared the MP spent per quest for quests 100-150 (done before the event) to the MP spent for quests 150-200 (done after the event). Made some graphs and had a linear trend line for each. Note the Y-axis scale change. Seems quests have become more expensive.
