My beautiful silver tabby passed away overnight after being very sick. She was only 4 years old. almost 3 weeks ago she went missing, and yesterday I had a dream she was really crook and too skinny and had been stuck in my nan's garage coz nobody knew she was there. when I woke up, I was missing her so I rang RSPCA, and she had been found, stuck in a shed at a truck yard a few streets away. She had been found that day and taken by pet ambulance to the rspca shelter, put on a drip and put in their ICU ward. I was really lucky to have found her, they let me take her to my vet, we tried to save her, but she died there overnight. At least I got to say goodbye and tell her how much I loved her, how much we all loved her, and I got to hold her for an hour while we waited for the blood results. The kids took it better than I did, and her funeral this afternoon was beautiful, she is buried in the front garden next to her favourite azalea.
