If you are then post here, like a little writing community where I could read your work and you could read mine.

I'll try to review at least one blog per person, but what would be really great is that we could all review each others.

It's a big dream for a small blog girl but lets see what happens.

Feel free to post anything here.thumbsup.gif

  • mewstar07 11 mewstar07Here's a poem I wrote. I need rate/critique. "Something moves within the hills, Shapes in harmony with the darkness. Eyes glitter. Teeth snap. A wolf pack appears". "They prowl the hills, In search of prey. Moving like one bady, One soul." "One raises his muzzle, The rest follow suit. The night is alive with wolf song". "I watch them with wonder. The lead wolf gazes around His eyes lock with mine." "He looks away, Arrogance tainting his movements. Great King of The Hills." "They pad wearily toward me, Calmly around me. Sniffing, Snuffling. They look up, and accept me at last. I am wolf."
  • silfuryn 0 silfurynHere is a small little thing I wrote up, no stealing! A river flowed through the forest, a shimmer of blue in the light of the sun. It surged around bends and splashed against the rocks that were sticking out in its wake. A leaf dropped from an oak tree, lightly riding the wind on its downward flight. The leaf wobbled and jerked in the wind and came to rest in the river. The large body of water carried the leaf around sharp turns and around the stones. Finally, the oak leaf came to rest at the paws of a grey cat. Shadow the cat looked intently at the battered leaf through sapphire eyes. She scooped up the leaf with a small paw. The leaf flew out of the water propelled by Shadow???s paw. Drips of water pooled off the leaf and back into the river where they had started. Shadowl mewed happily as she looked at the wet shinning leaf on the ground in front of her. She gave the leaf one more look and then headed back for camp. Her eyes sparkled in the bright sunlight. The sun was high in the sapphire sky, a bright yellow sphere in a sea of dull blue. A green butterfly flew low in the sky outlined by golden sunlight. Shadowsighed looking around, this was a beautiful forest but she sensed something dark was happening, through all that lovely sunlight, butterflies and blossoming flowers was a dark presence, an ominous thing that lurked in the deepest and darkest places in the wood. The she-cat knew something was out of place. The forest looked perfect, yes, indeed it did. But under that hood of beauty was something dark. It was hiding out there just waiting to strike the unprotected.

  • cellima 0 cellimaI am certainly a writer, I don't like posting my work online though, as I'm ultra paranoid about it being stolen. ^^
  • dreamybanana 0 dreamybananaI think of it differently. If someone stole the IDEA for Harry Potter, they would lack the motivation and imagination to make is as successful as it became. Plus its marapets. Writing being stolen isnt going to be that serious. But I can aslo understand why you would be cautious. Some people are just nasty. Anyway, thats my view.
  • sandstar360 15 sandstar360The lake was glass, the air around it still. The world seemed to hold its breath. In the distance, a lone wolf howled, shuddering the peaceful silence like it was all a deam. The wolf stepped down to the lake, tension bubbling in her throat. She again glanced at the moon. Upward her snout drew the air through and out her lungs, howling the night spirits away.
  • sandstar360 15 sandstar360I also like poetry.
  • sandstar360 15 sandstar360This is my poem called 'Losing Aly' Her name brings me tears And my heart snaps in two When I think of her smile I remember you-know-who As legend has said There are a vast many parts To the equation of life And there are many red marks Never did she pout or cry Her eyes were always bright She could always find her way In the darkest of the night Then came the day God said had to end This lovely girl's life My own, I would lend There was a scream and a shot Coming straight from a gun And in a drunken man's hand A child's life, now for the run Blood seeped from her neck As she lay there a-dying The drunken man laughing The body a-lying The car drives away Not offering a path An innocent little girl Now seeking God's wrath The service for her Came way too fast As does life Death comes at last Note: Not a real event in my life!
  • addiebell2 0 addiebell2I know its not the best poem it can be but its my newest... so keep that in mine Fake When they see your smile they think its original, They are wrong When you laugh its on the edge of hysteria, They don???t notice When they see you they think happy, But really your sad They didn???t notice the signs They didn???t really care Now your gone from the earth forever, They pretend to care They didn???t love you like there own, I did, But you didn???t care, You wanted them Why wasn???t I enough for you to live? Now my friend is gone.
  • sandstar360 15 sandstar360That was good. This is from something I wrote for school. The fire burned through the air, leaving behind a charred rubble and a herd of terrified horses to drown in their own fear. Bright swirls of oranges, yellows, blues, reds, even purples danced against the navy blue sky. The moon seemed to blink in defeat as the lone coyote howled its last, beautiful note.
