As of May 08, 2020, the average of all 24 runes is 493,818.25MP
The cost of a usual quest (asks up to 3 items) can range from 1mp-9kmp per quest item. Therefore, the lowest cost can be 1mp (1 item) or 27k (3 expensive items). So there is a huge window of a standard deviation per quest.
I only accept quests that cost (in total) ~15k or less. Usually around 2,000-11,000mp.
After 500 Quests (May 8th, 2020), I've gotten 28 Runes = Averaging at 1 Rune per 17.86 quests.
The payout (MP) is usually ~3,500mp, not the best.

LOWEST QUEST COST COST: 2,000mp cost x 18quests = 36,000mp overall cost INTERMEDIATE: (18quests x 3,500mp prize) - 36,000mp = +27,000mp PROFIT: 493,818mp rune + 27,000mp prize = 520,818mp total
HIGHEST QUEST COST COST: 11,000mp cost x 18quests = 198,000mp overall cost INTERMEDIATE: (18quests x 3,500mp prize) - 198,000mp = -135,000mp PROFIT: 493,818mp rune - 135,500mp prize = 358,818mp total
25mil ÷ 520,818mp = 48.00 x 18quests = 864.03quests total
25mil ÷ 358,818 = 69.67 x 18quests = 1,254.12quests total
Therefore, according to current statistics, it will take me 864-1,254quests overall to pay off the 25mil. This is assuming that the pattern of a rune showing up is every 18 quests!
