ATM 2.0 20th Birthday Silent Auction

1. The silent auction will last from now through midnight Sunday, August 18th. Items will be awarded Monday, August 19th.

2. To participate offer any item (the item's value IS NOT included in your bid; a low value item is fine as the winner will only be determined by mp) and offer as much or as little MP as you like. The highest offer when the auction ends wins the lot.

*Just a hint* Last time there were many lots that went for 10k or less mp, some as little as 1 mp!

3. You may offer on as many lots as you like.

4. THE FULL CARPENTER MAP! This is treated a little differently. The full map goes to the winner. Only offer mp on the first 8 pieces! On the next 8 pieces offer only an item. The winner will be determined by the bid on the first 8 pieces but you must offer on both sets so I can make sure you get the full map!

Donut Day Cryptogram

June 7th until June 14th

June 7th is National Donut Day in the U.S. In honor of this awesome treat, here is a cryptogram for you to solve. Maramail me the answer after you have solved the puzzle. Since this one requires a little effort, everyone who enters will win 20,000 club points. All entrants will be entered into a lottery for the grand prize. The grand prize will be awarded using a random name generator.

Grand Prize: Donut Pinata + 75,000 Club Points

A cryptogram is a puzzle with an encrypted message, where each letter in the message has been substituted by another letter of the alphabet. As you guess each substitution, add the letter everywhere it occurs in the puzzle, and the message will start to reveal itself.

Hints for solving
* The most frequent letters in the English language are E, T, A, O, N, I, S.
* Short words are often easier to identify and solve first.
* As you decipher more letters and words, use the known letters and word patterns to deduce the meaning of the rest of the message.
*Sometimes, the code is more straightforward than you think, so don't hesitate to try common letter substitutions.

We have already started transitioning into the May items. I am starting to put items into auctions. Keep checking in to see new items. Feel free to add your own items as well. i know all the club members appreciate it.

If you would like to donate or auction items, in May we are focusing on the following:
socks, boosters, trading cards, items needed for Labyrinth (corrupt codes, charms, magnets, hostage ransoms , venom , voodoo dolls) , eclipse items, bee items, bug items, bug minis (Ants for Tableaus Temple) , Anthill prizes (Cds, DVDs, books, etc.) , ladybird, ladybug, butterfly, Queen Bee items (especially the new ones) , buzzy, buzzing, items from previous wars - Light Side, Dark Side, Battle for Marada, Sultan, Zetzilla (save Gobble War items for Thanksgiving), rainy items, Nimbus items, Simerian slates for Slate Pyramid, balls of yarn, tornado items, twister items, lightning items, storm items (except snow) , thunder, weather events (drizzle, drought, heatwave, rain, tornado, sandstorm) (SAVE GLITCHED/CYBER & BLACKOUT FOR JULY AND SNOW FOR DECEMBER ) , melted items, sewer(s) items, May items
NOTE - for auctions, add in crystals & diamonds

AUCTIONS RULES REMINDER
1. No sniping at the last second if you don't already have a history of bidding on the particular item.

2. No drastic upbids. (No more than 10,000MP upbids.)The club Auction items are priced low to be advantageous to all our members.

3. There is a temporary limit of only bidding on 10 Active Auctions. We are looking for increased Club Auction activity from other members. (This means you should only bid for 10 at a time, but once your auctions are over, you can bid on more. You can have 10 active ones at any time.)

We are aware that all mp functions in the club are not working, so Poppi changed the club shop to club points and we have started raffles with club points as well.

EVENTS
Starting Thursday May 1st and ending the 8th, I have another logic puzzle. Each club member who enters will be awarded 5000 club points to use towards the club shop or club raffles. All entrants who correctly answer will be entered into a lottery for the grand prize of 50,000 club points. The grand prize will be awarded using a random name generator. Gummgumm graciously made us another set of logic squares to help with solving the puzzle. If you've never solved one before, I linked a youtube video to help you out.

5/9-5/16 Starting on Lost Sock Awareness Day, I am hosting a Shusan Quest Challenge. We will all be questing for socks anyway, so everyone should enter.
Everyone who enters will win 10,000 club points. Winners will be awarded points in addition to the entry award. So for example if you come in 3rd place you win 50K + 10K = 60K

FIRST PLACE: 100,000 Club Points
SECOND PLACE: 75,000 Club Points
THIRD PLACE: 50,000 Club Points
FOURTH PLACE: 25,000 Club Points

This is similar to the one we did at Valentine's. Find a Marapets item for each category and then Maramail me your completed list. Everyone who enters will win 10,000 club points. All entrants will be entered into a lottery for the grand prize. The grand prize will be awarded using a random name generator.

Starting soon, Poppi will also be running "Heads or Tails" in club chat. When she posts "heads or tails" the 1st person to reply with an answer, she will google flip a coin. If you guess right you will be rewarded with club points. More info to come in club chat.
