ADVENT CALENDAR
Its that time of year again in Marada! The year that Biala comes alive and the whole of Marada gets into the Christmas spirit. At midnight, the Advent Calendar will open and you will be able to get your prizes for FREE as usual for every day in December! All prizes, including any avatars, will retire.
IMPORTANT - we have increased the logging of Advent Calendar cheaters this year, even more so than last year. It is VERY easy for us to catch any cheaters who claim prizes on multiple accounts. Anyone caught will immediately be blocked from using the Advent Calendar, receive huge fines and/or their account PERMANENTLY frozen. We have a zero tollerance policy on cheating.
Those who have already completed the Advent Tree instructions, please note that prizes are rewarded at the end of the day, every day. You automatically receive your prizes, so you do not have to do anything but wait for the Alert!
The new December Account Upgrades have now been released!! There are 2 different themes - Polar and Christmas Tree! Bronze and Silver will retire in January, where as the Gold Account will retire in May 2010.

NEW FEATURE
The Crevice has just been released in the City Sewers. The City Sewers is a smelly, dirty, disgusting place to visit. Not many pets can live here, but its home to a lot of insects and bugs. The crevice is a giant gap in the walls of the sewers, where hundreds of different bugs live. The gap is too small for you or your pet to get into, but with a Trap you should be able to catch a bug! The better the trap, the rarer the bug you can find!
Use any Trap from your Inventory to catch a bug. Once you catch a bug, you will lose the trap.

Once upon a midnight sunrise, as the moon rose and the sun died,
Many fish were stranded on the Minipet Island shore.
I tried to stop their flapping, but the flippers that were slapping
Kept on with their tapping, tapping at the sandy floor.
"Who will save them," I inquired, "From their flapping on the shore?"
The Maradan Queen of Fish, of course!
I shall not soon forget the intense feeling of regret
That upon me was beset when I saw she was online no more!
I searched the Online List in horror a second and a third time for her,
But, alas, she was no more - no more, I raised my head and swore!
For the Fishiest of the Witches that we adore
Was miles from the Maradan shore.
One by one I madly tossed the fishes that were sadly lost;
Their smelly underbellies reeking to their rotten cores.
If only she were here, and upon this bank appear
The Lady of the Ocean Floor,
This fishy gore would be no more!
I was in an instant blinded, suddenly reminded
Of the darkness that extended forever and some more.
For a sudden beam of light had broken through the night,
And the shadows, they took flight - flight before your mighty roar!
Saved, was I, from this menial chore!
But as you stood there beaming, another beam of light came streaming,
followed by shrill screaming - screaming like none before.
My blood was chilled and my breath was stilled,
For through the Earth did another bore!
Bore up through the sandy shore,
Intent to even up the score!
My heartbeat was like thunder as the Queen of All Things Under
Slithered like her servants that these fish once ate before.
"It's her!" I yelled, "It's the Worminator -
She has come for revenge, and more!
Up from the core of the Earth she bore.
Up, as you rose from the ocean floor!"
Then silence did befall us, as the mounting wind did call us -
Speaking, shrieking, shouting for the flavour of your gore!
But neither of you flinched, neither of you moved an inch;
The unblinking gazes that you wore
Bore deep into the other's core.
You stared and stared and nothing more.
Then like a bolt of lightning did descend the ever-frightening
Judgment of the Ocean Staff, which in hand you bore!
And the mighty sound of crashing was echoed by her thrashing
As she crumpled on the sandy shore!
Crumpled like the worms who swore
To do her bidding, nothing more!
All at once her writhing stopped as down upon your knees you dropped
And gazed upon your minions - saddened to the core.
I could not help but shudder as I watched your lashes flutter,
For the wetness in your eyes said more,
Said more than words had said before.
Your gaze had fallen to the shore.
Then as a tear descended, all the broken fish were mended -
The Mara drought had ended - ended with the war!
And to my great surprise, the tide began to rise -
The ocean floor ascended with a mighty roar!
The chariot had come to bore away the one that we adore!
The one we love forevermore!

The High Score Lists have been updated. All of the lists will now properly update whenever a change is made. We have also added Wardrobe count to the list. Please note that to make sure we have these perfect before they go live, prizes and trophies will not be released until January. We have also updated the High Scores image!

The Word Search is a new weekly game in Enpiah. Every Wednesday a new word search is released. You need to find and enter as many of the words you can in the box below, each seperate by a comma. Each word search has a theme and the words are always Marapets related! The more words you find, the bigger the prize you will receive! You may also get lucky and win a Bonus Item Prize!

A new Olympic Event has just started! This week is Weight Lifting! That means that the stat requirements for this event have changed. We have also made some important changes to the Olympics now that it has been on the site long enough for us to test it out! The amount of Olympic Points earned has changed! Depending on the group you are entered into, you will win points for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place too now!! So even losing is rewarding!!

Marapets reached 5 Years Old on August 15, 2009. Happy (belated) Birthday Marapets! From now until the 20 December 2009, Birthday Cakes will randomly show up anywhere on the page - simply click them to win a prize!

The City Sewers river is clearly full of sewage. Everything flushed down Marahome toilets, rain and dirt washed down the City's drains and trash that is left behind from previous visitors all ends up floating around in this river. You can only swim in the Sewage once every 24 hours, and for health reasons, we do not recommend ever swimming in sewage! But lets make an exception just this once, and see what we can find in here...
