Our new summer event started midnight June 1st. All players are automatically invited to join a Band to complete challenges for. Are you Marching Band or Rock Band? There are over 70 different types of challenges you could be asked to complete - including quests, missions, restocking and battling! You will earn a point for your band after you complete each challenge and you may also win an MP or item prize. All prizes retire at the end of the event.
There are 30 different badges for you to collect - one for each day in June. Complete 20 or more challenges each day and you will receive the badge. Earn all 30 badges for a gold trophy on your profile, 20 for silver and 10 for bronze.
The more badges you earn, the more prizes that will unlock for you to win! When you earn 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 badges, new prizes will be unlocked for you to win! This means that a small amount of the item prizes can only be won from players who earn most badges!
At the end of the event, the winning band (if you earn 3 or more badges) will receive extra bonus prizes - so keep earning points for your team! There will also be prizes for the top 150 players who earn the most points and each day random players will earn Account Upgrade Credits to 10 random team players who receive a badge each day.
@Ather @victorianartist if you just moved some items from your attic or bought some items from shops and kept them priced, you'd have sales and therefore a shoptill
Well Mr. @Ian .. I will be dipped, that does make it easy. I never figured that one out. Thank you! I hated to beg people to buy, I just let it time out. *smacks head*
But as long as you earn your daily badge, sounds like you should have an equal shot at that AU compared to those that may be able to complete more challenges than that with it being a random draw.
Just try not to get too discouraged and put in what you can so you can keep getting the event prizes.

You can either view by clicking on the mascot when challenges pop up. Or once you get one badge, it should show up with a mascot to click from the stats page on your profile.
This event started out fun but now the site moves so slow for me and the random event challenges hardly ever pop up so I can barely complete 20 before the day finishes :(.
The new site changes I'm still getting use to and many are not exactly disable friendly with the tiny print to adjust to but I'm getting the hang of it slowly but surely :).
Taking a break from eye strain for dinner then I'll try again to find another event challenge or two before the day ends :like:.
A friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you just the same. Friends and family are special nobody gets left behind or forgotten. I'm thankful for all my friends and family.
