I feel like this is an attempt to have a genie/jinn type costume that displays a masculine and feminine version of pets. All the species for each costume are the same except for the genie as the troit as well.
Masculine vs feminine
one is blue themed, the other pink
one has the pets with longer hair, vs a hat
one has pets with a veil, which is a female only costume accessory.
Im not complaining, I just find it interesting
