The lack of day/night being obvious was the thing I liked least about the old version.
The new version could use to be slightly brighter and less blue (maybe more yellow?) in the day and slightly darker and bluer at night as right now the changes are fairly subtle: different sky, very slight color difference. Also, where Mr. Troll in the night version?
