Encourage the artist to do better in a good way. Tell them what's your concern about it. They can improve it that way. If you just tell them they're art is horrible, that is a good way to put them down for good. **been there, done that** Don't be childish and immature. Just spread the season of love and giving. If you really want the art to improve then try giving them ideas and inspiration to do so.
