68 lucy987Hi my bestest memory is more about my baby brother than me. It feels like it was so long ago I must have been about 8 and my brother 5, he was the cutiest and bravest thing and had just recovered from a term in hospital as he has a life threating illness. It was christmas morning and we both began to open our presents. As the we got to the last of the presents I relised that what my brother wanted most, a Thomas train set, was no where to be seen. We all knew he wanted it so badly as it was all he talked about in hospital. My mum opened the last present and you could see him holding back the tears. My mum asked if there was anything wrong and he explain how it didnt matter and that he would wait untill next year to get this toy. He was really grown up about it saying how he knew that it was a lot of money and that he hadnt been good enough, but you could see he was very upset. Just then the door bell rang and we heard talking. Minutes later my dad walked in with another present. He explainned how Santa had forgotten to drop this present off last night and had only just delivered it. It was for my brother and as we openned it we saw how it was the train set that he wanted. He was the happiest boy ever, jumping off the walls and laughing and hugging the trains as if someone was going to take it away from him again. We played with it for the rest of the day. I understand now that it was my parents doing and it was slightly cruel but we play tricks on them every year to get our own back. Its started a sort of tradition. We may have grown up and stopped playig with plastic trains but that little memory reminds me of the child inside me at Christmas

0 kennethnixonMy best Christmas gift I've ever got is just being able to spend Christmas with my family last year. We have been struggling with money ever since I can remember . My parents are divorced but last year I got to spend Christmas with my mom AND dad at the same time !!! We laughed , watched Christmas movies and drank hot chocolate ❤️ god is good ❤️

67 KodiiSo, I'm going to tell you both, but the best gift is my actual entry. (: My favorite gift I ever received was when I was about 9, and Pokemon Sapphire & Ruby came out. I WANTED THEM SOOOO BAD! But, I didn't think my parents would get them for me because they were expensive. So, on Christmas morning, I opened aaaall my presents, and was pretty happy with it all. But, INSIDE THE TREE, were 2 little boxes wrapped up THAT WERE THE GAMES. Needless to say, I beat both of them by the next Christmas (I know that was awhile, but it's okay 😆 ) And, well, that is pretty much my favorite memory too. (:

15 LongtimeWell when I was little, I wanted a ds lite sooo bad, but everywhere was sold out my parents told me. So, when it came to Christmas, I ran downstairs opened all my presents, they were great, but there was no ds. I then heard a bang. My parents told me to go see what it was, at first I didn't want to because I thought they were lying. So after them bribing me to go upstairs, I ran into my bedroom, and there, on my chest of drawers, we're two presents. I opened them and there was a ds and one of those game cards. I was so happy! But even to this day, I don't know how they made the bang&a and got the presents there without me knowing! Gl all thanks for this opportunity<3

75 MonicaThis is a little difficult, Christmas has never been a time I really enjoyed so I can't think of any decent memories of it >.< so I'll have to think of my best gift on that day. It would probably have to be the book Call of the Wild by Jack London, it was a sad book that opened me up a little. My dad cleared out a lot of stuff so he must have thrown it out along with other things which is really sad >.< mine was a certain edition not the original so I can not find another anywhere.

0 RaezelaChristmas is such a lovely time. I'm never sure what we'll do but I love when I get the chance to be in the snow, and the whole festive decorating, Christmas music and tree scene. I honestly don't have too many good Christmas memories, our family has a lot of um... issues. But one memory that was probably the best one ever was when I was, mmm, seven or eight, and when I went to find my presents my mom had filled the tree with little Pokemon plushies, specifically ones I asked for. When I was younger that was basically my childhood, Pokemon this and that-- it was so cool to see them all in the tree 😛 I feel silly saying that but even today that'd make me so excited, lol, its one of those things you never get over... Weeeeell, that was my best memory/favorite gift. ❤️ Wonderful idea! (:

16 maxi98Right, so my favourite and most funny christmas memory is when i was 10. I had opened most of presents as usual and we had a house extension done a few weeks before but not decorated. So my mum tells me to let the dogs out into the garden and when i went into the extension a mountain bike all wrapped up was just there in the middle of the room, but some how i was oblivious to it, and didn't see. then my parents told me to go back in the room and then i actually saw it! It was so funny because i don't understand how i missed it but we all had a good laugh about it - it was great Oh, and the day after, boxing day, we went up to see my grandparents who were spent christmas alone that year and surprised them by not telling them we were coming to see them, the faces when the saw us filled me with happiness! 57 DoughHi im Joc and i would say my best Christmas ever was two years ago.. All my family was together and we had a nice time. The best part was we all gathered in the living room and started to play guitar hero. I was loosing at times but it was still fun to see everyone have a smile on there face and a laugh here an there. Nothing can ever replace that memory of the special time. Thanks

0 ThingythingMy favorite memory was when we still had a nintendo wii and me and my sister took it round my grandparents house on christmas where the whole of my dads side of the family was (and my mum) and at first no one one wanted to play but then my aunty starded playing Just dance and then everyone was playing 😆

0 GuineapigsruleI have a favorite, but hilarious Christmas memory. Every year we used to go to my great grandparents' house. Every single year we did the same stupid thing..which to this day it makes me laugh. It was no friends, just purely family members. We sat in a circle, said our names and one thing we got for Christmas. I find it hilarious still to this day the fact that we had to say our names when it was a small family gathering, not many people at all. It's not a very thrilling story but I find it funny still.

69 PanemHeya. The best Christmas gift that I have ever received is a massive oblong shaped box which was taller than me. When I opened it, inside there was Seasons 1-6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on VHS. I then spent days watching these until 4a.m in the morning. I still have these all on a shelf. Thank you for reading

2 CrizzyThe best Christmas gift I've ever gotten was when my parents told me that the whole family was going to be taking a trip to Florida. Hearing this wasn't very exciting because I've been there multiple times but anyways we left on Christmas Eve and it turns out that Florida was just a layover spot for our real destination, the Bahamas. I was so excited because this was my first time being out of the country and I've always seen those commercials about the Bahamas and how nice it was. Anyways, we stayed there for a week and had the best time ever and it was such an amazing Christmas gift filled with many memories that will stick with me forever.

We would never get along and would always fight since we had the same room and would always want to play with the same toys. On Christmas morning when we were done opening the presents when he got out a card and gave it to me. It says, "Although we always fight, I'm still your brother and I love you!" From then on I would always wait for Christmas to come where we would exchange our cards we make for each other. I would never forget that day. So, that's my story. 21 ChaiInteresting question. Favorite memory. Hmm. I don't really think of Christmas that much, it was never really a special thing for me. Now that I think about it, Christmas hasn't brought many great memories with my family and I. But one memory I do remember very clearly was back in 2010. This was when my older sister and I used to share a room, and there was a door that led into the porch area, where the fridge is located. On Christmas Eve, we stayed up all night and snuck into the kitchen to make peanutbutter cookies and drink all the eggnog. Aha, and then we took turns playing some Shrek games on our gameboy. I miss those times, but since my sister is in college now, I don't see her too often. Hopefully she'll be over for Christmas this year. cx

0 ne0np1nkMy favorite christmas memory would have to be last years. When i was 3 my parents got divorced and we came to live with our grandma. She had a cat named Jewels. So for the past 13 years this cat has been my absolute best friend and so on christmas morning after we were all done with our presents and put all the wrapping paper in a garbage bag, we starting eating breakfast and playing with all of our new things and what not. Later the bag started moving around and we were all freaked out. We took out all of the wrapping paper and my cat had just woken up from her nap. We didn't even realize she was in there but she was on the very bottom under all of the wrapping paper. This was my favorite because we had to put her down in March. She was my bestfriend and i love that cat still to this day

75 Jennymay73My best christmas would have to be last year..when i was little there was five kids and well my parents could never afford to much.Then i got marreied and every year i wanted to have a very special christmas.Every years for 16 years was always fighting and it never happened.So now that im with someone very special..we finally got to celebrate christmas..We had a got a tree and everything ..it was really great that after all those years someone finally Kept the promise to have christmas...

0 BloodAndRosesMy best Christmas present? It was ma pony! although i didnt exactly get him for christmas it was about a week after that that my loan pony was finally mine! I remember sitting in my granddads house when i saw his for sale add and his price tag that we simply couldnt afford. I had loaned him for half a year and was devastated. I just remember sitting crying looking through photos and before i knew he was for sale i spend my time dreaming about going up on christmas morning with his prezzie and treats but it never happened. at that end of december/early january my parents hap finally gave in to my depression and told me that they were going to buy him! i cant even explain how happy he was! SO my pony is still to this day my favourite present ever as well as this being my favourite Christmas memory

0 Tomboy14My best Christmas gift was my iPhone 4s last year! I'd been wanting one for a while, but I knew they were very expensive. I had to pitch in about 1/3 of the money and some family members had to help as well as my parents, but it was so worth it! I use my phone all the time now and it is always with me. My phone before it was a hand-me-down iPhone 3g that I adored, but it was glitching and I couldn't use it anymore. I know it may be sort of typical to have my favorite gift be one of my most expensive gifts, but I really think it's the most useful. I absolutely love using the camera because I'm really into capturing memories and moments, and now I always fill up my memory with photos and videos. (: And I have a lot of space for music as well, and I'm very tech-savvy so I love all the features and I'm always discovering more ways to love it. ❤️ Good luck choosing the winners, and Happy Early Christmas!
