I laughed. I went back up to the middle of the roof, and started sketching the sky again. The charcoal seemed to really bring out the effect of the sky than colored pencils did. I smiled as I sketched, glancing up at the stars every now and then.

Stel smiled. "We'll see." She called out her griffin, weighing around 200 pounds, and had him sit on the roof. She inflated him, and around 600 pounds, the roof started creaking. Stel quickly changed it back to a lifeless figurine and smiled. "You aren't 600 pounds, are you?"

Stel laughed. "No. It's a sleepover. When friends invite friends over to each other's houses and they stay the night. Usually it's a same gender restriction, but we're almost family now, and we're sleeping on roofs. We're breaking all the rules."
