My cat Zoe was a wonderful cat. We found her in the dumpster when I was 5 years old. She loved me the most. She would always sleep with me in my bed, she loved to be wrapped up in blankets and sleep all day. She loved to cuddle, and most of all purr. She purred at just about everything. Even when she was dying she was purring very softly. She died on the bathroom floor on Sunday, April 20th 2008. She was breathing hard, she was all bloody from the cancer tumors that burst inside her stomach. When my mom brought me into the room I ran over to her and fell to the floor, crying so hard. I started screaming "Don't leave me, Zoe. Not yet." But it was her time. I'm going to miss her with all of my heart, but, I know she's in a better place. My aunt and God are taking care of her up in Heaven. I'm sad to see her go, but I know that she was suffering and I didn't want that for her. My last words to her was "I Love You, good luck."

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am sorry you went through this.
My cat is someone I would also miss.
But the best thing to do is not be sad.
But instead just be glad
You spent time with a great cat
